Area Update 10/3/2018: The Adventurer's Nook.

Hey everyone!

Ally at the Adventurer's Nook is now selling 5 new items:

1. a round green tin of mint leaves - each can has 5 mint leaves in them. Eating 1 will increase HP food points. After enough HP food points are gained, your max HP will increase by 1. A secondary effect is that it increases your Charisma stat by 1 for 30 minutes. This does not stack.

2. a hunk of smoked badger jerk - Each bite gives you the MAXIMUM amount of food points allotted PER DAY. DO NOT EAT MORE THAN 1 BITE PER DAY. Eating a bite will increase your HP food points. After enough HP food points are gained, your max HP will increase by 1. There are no secondary effects. This item has 21 bites (3 weeks worth).

3. a leather bag of trail mix that promotes a healthy lifestyle - each bag of HEALTHY lifestyle trail mix has 15 trail mix bites in it. Eating 1 will increase HP food points. After enough HP food points are gained, your max HP will increase by 1. A secondary effect increases your EXP gains by 5% for 30 minutes. This does not stack.

4. a leather bag of trail mix that promotes a Mage's lifestyle - each bag of Mage's lifestyle trail mix has 15 trail mix bites in it. Eating 1 will increase ESSENCE food points. After enough ESSENCE food points are gained, your max ESSENCE will increase by 1. A secondary effect increases your EXP gains by 5% for 30 minutes. This does not stack.

5. a leather bag of trail mix that promotes an invigorating lifestyle - each bag of invigorating lifestyle trail mix has 15 trail mix bites in it. Eating 1 will increase STAMINA food points. After enough STAMINA food points are gained, your max STAMINA will increase by 1. A secondary effect increases your EXP gains by 5% for 30 minutes. This does not stack.


Remember, food points accumulate slowly. Do not expect to see gains quickly. This system is not designed to be grinded. You do not need to eat to survive. This is just an added RP element that works towards boosting your stats and adding secondary effects.

If you want to gain HP, eat more foods that gain you HP. The same applies for Essence and Stamina.

Q&A:

Q: Where are blood, favors, and webbing?
A: They are on the way my friends!!!

Q: Why does the jerk give 50HP food points but no secondary effects?
A: The jerk is for folks who just want the food points and only want to worry about maxing them once per bite, per day. This is for the folks who don't want to think about it, but want the added benefits of stat increases.

Q: Where is the jerk equivalent for ESS, STAM, BLOOD, WEB, and FAVORS?
A: They are on the way my friends!!!

Q: Are there any tricks I can do to maximize my daily food points while still taking advantage of secondary effects?
A: Yes! Once you max your food points, you can still eat for secondary effects.

Q: Any other tricks?
A: Something... something... meal planning. Let's say that 1 trail mix bite equals 1 point, and the maximum points you can get for the day are 50 points, and 1 bite of the jerk gives you 50 points. Could you eat 49 trail mix bites and then 1 jerk to get 99 points, which is 49 more points than the maximum allotted? MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYBE!
